Right beside the Johannstadt ferry landing is the ever popular Ferry Garden. During the day it offers a shady Spot to sit and if you come in the evening you can see the sun set behind the old town skyline. The Ferry Garden is only a few minutes walk up the river from the Brühlsche Terrace and as such makes a great end to a stroll. You can quench your thirst with a glass of beer or something else, or try the tasty morsels on the charcoal grill. As it is beautifully located right by the river, the garden has become a favorite stop-off for touring cyclists wanting to rest weary legs. For anyone doing water sports, the beer garden is accessible from its own jetty (53,4 km). The stress-free atmosphere under rustling trees is available from 10 am every day.

If the garden, which has a capacity of 200, is already full, it is always pleasant to just sit on the riverbank with its wonderful view.
