The funicular railway connects the Dresden district of Loschwitz with the higher-lying "Weißer Hirsch". Here, in the immediate vicinity of the top station, the Luisenhof restaurant invites you to visit.

Two cars, connected by a haul rope and driven by the stationary hoisting machine, travel along the scenic route. On the way, the vehicles pass through two short tunnels and a 102-metre-long bridge viaduct.
