The Great Garden is a popular meeting place for young and old. A round trip on the Dresden Park Railway gives you an impression of the entire park before you set off to explore the ensemble of green spaces and baroque architecture on foot. The heart of the park is the Palais Pond, which is only a few steps away from the station of the same name. The restored palace rises in the middle of the Great Garden and is considered one of the first German baroque buildings ever.
