Dresden Information GmbH (DIG) is the official tourist information centre for Dresden and is responsible for mediating and advising on tourist enquiries.
As the official point of contact for visitors to the city, DIG operates the Dresden Information offices in the Frauenkirche Quarter and at the main railway station, the Service Centre and the tourism section at www.dresden.de. During the Christmas season, there is also a location at the Dresden Striezelmarkt.
The range of services includes:
- Information about Dresden and the surrounding area
- Information on culture, gastronomy and shopping
- Advice and planning of a trip to Dresden, tips and recommendations
- Accommodation, packages and offers for travel groups
- Organisation of congresses and events
- Booking of city tours and sightseeing tours
- Arranging tour guides
- Booking of excursions in the region and day trips
- Dresden Welcome Cards (Museums, City and Regio Card)
- Event tickets, books and souvenirs

Mon to Fri 9 am to 7 pm, Sat 10 am to 6 pm, Sun/Public holidays 10 am to 4 pm
NOTE: From 7 to 9 June 2024, Dresden Information will be open for you as follows
Friday, 7 June 2024 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 8/9 June 2024 10 am to 4 pm
The main station will be closed to train traffic, but the shops will be open.
